Add Lib

It’s a play on being a trusted part of my clients team - one that adds creativity, perspective, bandwidth and value. Ask my clients what my role is, no answer will be the same. That’s intentional.

Add Lib is a small and dedicated consultancy that works with only a handful of clients who have a great product and authentic story.

Need a fresh perspective, a creative jolt, a connector to help you forge new relationships and find thoughtful resources?

You’re in the right place. With an entrepreneurial mindset, I’ve helped some of the South’s best-loved brands nurture ideas through development and grow their businesses through creative content, unique partnerships, and PR.

As an owner of Leapfrog PR for over a decade, I guided many of my clients, both large and small, to become prominent brands among the shelves of national retailers.

Now as founder of the creative consultancy Add Lib, I focus on only a handful of clients who have a truly great story – business owners in the South who have products and services that are inspired by heritage (a recipe, an orchard, a kettle built to last, kinship) and built on people’s need to gather, connect and foster relationships.

I advise brands including Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, Caroline’s Cakes, Sea Island Forge, Schermer Pecans, The Southern Coterie and consult with entrepreneurs looking to create the next iconic brand or simply get their concept organized and off the ground.
Headshot portrait of Libba
I’m a storyteller at heart, I look for common threads — pride in the process and an authentic history — in all of the companies that I work alongside.
Libba makes me look and sound way better than I could ever do on my own. She is an invaluable part of my team. I don’t know how many times a week I say, “Let’s ask Libba!”- Carey Morey, Founder of Callie's Hot Little Biscuit, star of PBS How She Rolls, and cookbook author
Bandwidth stifles creativity — it’s a hurdle that most entrepreneurs face when building and growing their brand. Let’s get to work and together we can create a clear path forward (and have some fun making it happen!)
I’m here to help whether you're a solo-entrepreneur needing a set of fresh eyes and some one-on-one consulting or a brand looking to outsource the role of marketing director.  I also work behind the scenes with other creative agencies to enhance their expertise and expand their bandwidth.

kind words from my clients

We’ve entrusted Libba every step of the way and her counsel, ideas and strategic promotion have been invaluable. Steve and I consider her more than a consultant, more than a friend - she is an integral part of our team and is dedicated to our success. Libba is a true partner in our business!- Sandy Schoettle, Sea Island Forge
Libba is a PR professional, but she truly gets freelance writers. I've worked with her since 2020, and she stands head-and-shoulders above many of her peers for her keen understanding of how all sides of media work and what writers need. Her pitches are thoughtful, smart and curated. I respect her immensely for being selective in working with brands that truly have amazing stories and people behind them. If I could tell every story Libba has ever pitched to me, I would. She's the best.- Kelsey Ogeltree, freelance writer and founder, Pitchcraft
Libba can tell a compelling brand story, but her ability to connect and align brands in ways that are mutually beneficial is pure gold. When she works with a brand she creates a narrative that resonates, builds awareness and drives revenue.- Haile McCollum, Fontaine Maury
Libba is the breath of fresh air that everyone needs for their business. She doesn’t just help me come up with a strategic vision and plan; she sees it through along with me and holds me accountable to ensure that the project is completed, and my strategic visions and goals are achieved.- Amanda Wilbanks, Southern Baked Pie
Libba’s savvy approach creates a balance of contemporary and classic branding with strategic elegance.- Amy Hughes, Literary Agent
I appreciate Libba’s impeccable judgment, insight, creativity, taste and tact!- Bessie Gant, writer and literary project manager
Libba understands our community as she helped build it from the start with the launch of The Southern C Summit in 2013. Her strategic support of The Southern Coterie creates highly refined concepts and ideas. Because she is so intuitive of our culture, her ideas are always mapped out beyond our expectations.- Cheri Leavy, TSC Summit and The Southern C Membership
